Choosing a new mobile phone can be confusing
as manufacturers add more and more options to their products. One
new phone from Kyocera brings together a palm pc and mp3 player
into a compact handset.
With Palm OSŪ 4.1 software, 16 MB of onboard RAM and MMC/SD
expansion card slot, the Kyocera 7135 smartphone is a portable
computer. You can even get an optional folding portable keyboard.
The large, bright screen of the Kyocera 7135 displays over 65,000
different colors. Download and view pictures and videos, play
games, color code all those spreadsheets - things are just more
exciting in color. What's more, you can do it all while listening
to your favorite tunes with the onboard MP3 player. With 3G
technology, the Kyocera 7135 is able to download information from
the Internet up to 10 times faster than most phones as 3G capable
networks can handle data speeds of up to 156kbps.
The 7135 also has all the standard featured you would expect from
a high range phone like IrDA, vibrating alert, voice dialing as
well as USB and serial connection for your home pc.
Running the Palm operating system (version 4.1), the Kyocera
PDA phone works with any type of Palm application--including games,
database programs, and more--as well as with desktop programs such
as Chapura that enable information sharing between your PDA phone and
your PC.
